QuickTime 3 is recommended to run the Life Forms 3.0 demo.
The easiest way to ensure Life Forms operates correctly and has all its
features enabled is to install QuickTime 3. If you choose not to install
QuickTime 3 be aware that:
• QuickDraw 3D 1.5.3 is required for rendering (QuickDraw 3D 1.5.4 is
included with QuickTime 3)
• QuickTime 2.5 or better is required to export animation to QuickTime movies
and to synch animation to sound files.
• QuickTime 3.0 is required to import textures from Photoshop files, BMP, GIF
and many other file formats. Without QuickTime 3 installed you can only import PICT
and JPEG files.

1. Start Life Forms by double-clicking the Life Form ™ 3.0 application icon in
the Life Forms 3.0 Demo folder.

NEW FEATURES
One big difference between Life Forms v3.0 and earlier versions is that version
3 is a more complete animation solution. Version 3.0 now supports rendering,
and it comes with a collection of models and animations to get you started
quickly.
Don't forget to try new features such as Range editing, enhanced Paste
Special, Inverse kinematics, file browser and spline interpolation.
We also added convenience features such as quick keys for window navigation,
and the ability to advance to next keyframes.
Life Forms 3.0 includes:
• Model Gallery – 10 plus cool new Life Forms-ready models and stage props
• Animation Gallery – 40 new motion capture animation files, in addition to the
sample walk and run cycles and other animations.
• QuickTime 3 Pro – a 30 dollar value that lets you edit, convert and compress
video and audio files.
• Optional LightWorks plug-in renderer software – high quality renderers that
work with Life Forms. They can be enabled at additional cost.
If you purchase the Life Forms STUDIO v3.0, you will also get the PowerMoves 1 & 2
CD and additional import-export capabilities. The PowerMoves CD combines
the models and 600 animations in PowerMoves I with 5 cool human models
